As an Executive, John brings an entrepreneurial viewpoint, a deep understanding of the needs of academic clients, and outstanding leadership skills to Science Publisher Company. During his travels in Eastern Europe, Asia, and the United States as a business consultant and academic advisor, he met individuals who faced challenges in connecting with the English-speaking academic community. While helping his colleague (a professor from China) edit a scientific manuscript, he realized the need for a professional service that specializes in refining English articles for scholars whose first language is not English. Additionally, his understanding of the challenges involved in launching and managing large scientific publishing enterprises inspired him to seek a position as the Executive Officer of a significant European organization dedicated to assisting scientists worldwide in achieving their professional goals. John has devoted considerable time traveling to universities and research institutions around the world to understand customer needs and build strong relationships. Since 2012, he has been actively involved in developing global strategies and launching new projects. Currently, he manages the strategic and academic aspects of the business, thanks to his in-depth understanding of customer expectations. John is an alumnus of Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, where he earned his MBA, and also, he studied finance at the University of Miami.
